The new Adventure Mode came out in 1.0, and is a non-roguelike set of curated journeys through specific handcrafted temples, a perfect place to learn the game from or just enjoy as a solo experience. Each of them has a unique whip to use, relic to gather, and set of challenges to face.

Of note is the fact that this blessing will prevent the Guardian from reaching its full power at the end of an Inferno run, though the one upgrade that you prevent is not particularly substantial.

I understand that is due to the Phantom Abyss servers being reset but perhaps a forced progression reset wasn't the best idea.

Is there in the later course a whip with speed thrust, or how is that explained? I don't want to shout Speedhack, but it sounds very strange.
feel like a retro platformer. While these can be great fun, it did mean that your whip swings in a very disjointed way. In addition to this, each level feels very basic and somewhat familiar. However, this was mostly down to the fact that they are.
